Screen shots aren't going to do you any good. What are you going to do if/when they say they won't honor the price? Send them your screen shots? They already know (and will admit)t he item was mispriced. Are you planning on filing a lawsuit agains them and using the screen shots as evidence? You'll find that paying retail for the RAM is cheaper than suing someone.

Staples will match the prices if and only if it is in stock or the same exact brand... and they seem to not carry Micron brand RAM so we're pretty much screwed.

I'm of the mind to not call/confirm -unless- I think something's odd, out of the ordinary. 50 calls asking to "verify pricing" is a great way to throw up a red flag. I have no problem with that, it can keep you from going through the hassles later on.

As for screenshots, feel free to get 'em. Personally, I'm not holding onto any shots I had because it borders on absurdity. If you use them to dispute any CC charge, it's your funeral, your ethics, your choice.

For those of you who got the worm, expect some Ny-tol in the mail that'll keep you in bed instead of deal-huntin'.

I got screen shots of the my receipt and the product page which says it is in stock. If I can get my domain up tonight I will post the product page in case anyone wants it.

Go to check your order and click on product link. When I did that it came out with product page, price and also says that its in stock. Go figure!?

Only 14 dimms?? If that's true..then the only people who would of gotten them would of been the ones that visited hardocp first...or the first people that saw the deal here. I don't know if this guy Eric's saying the truth...maybe that's the cover-up...we just have 14 dimms.. How can anyone sue them if they claim they ran out..
Well, you'd practically have to live here, or be extremely lucky to have gotten one or more of those 14 dimms.. (if that's true..)

EGGHEAD USES TECH DATA AND INGRAM MICRO DISTRIBUTORS. TECH DATA DONT CARRY THAT RAM AT ALL. I CALLED INGRAM MICRO 800# THEY SAID THAT RAM BEEN OUT OF STOCK SINCE LAST WEEK!!! egghead has plenty of time to cancel our orders before it comes back in stock to ingram.

I don't believe anyone can possibly know what Egghead's inventory is unless you work there. They're certainly not telling random people who call on the phone.

eh... what's with the date... I just noticed this... ordered on the 25 yet it says 24 for the warehouse thingy? Is their system messed up? Hopefully that shipping thing is legit as I when I go to UPS says that tracking # does not exist.

Interesting. One of my orders shows order received by warehouse and the other only shows order forwarded to warehouse for processing and fulfillment. Course, both my orders are UPS ground, so either way it may not matter. Just interesting.
