Sounds a little bit like the scare tactics done by some of the mods when that $50 Oniva Seattle Chamber coupon was passed around.. Apparently I could have gotten sued for "fraud".. Ahem.. I think of that everytime I burn a disc at 12x using my Plextor I got for a nice low price.

Buy.com lists it as "32X64-8 256MB SYNC PC100 168PIN 3.3V 100MHZ DIMM" exactly as Egghead does (and, as noted above, the mfgr #'s are exactly the same). Their price is $268.95.

No way this is a 32 meg stick.

you guys got into this hot deal knowing that it's one of those hot deals that are too good to be true. yeah a few orders might slip by and you're hoping that you're in one of those category. what more can you do but wait? yet a majority of you find the time to hit refresh every minute and sit in front of your comp all day to talk smack about egghead. you're even getting paranoid to think there are spies. get a life. geez.

p.s. and this is just the beginning. wait til egghead cancels all order and we have 300 more post about sueing egghead. this is not a nice thing to say but i hope either you, a friend, or a relative owns a store and mispriced an item. people buy it and then sue you/them for not honoring it and then you/them go bankrupt and live on the street. and then maybe you would seen how stupid you look right now. of course this comment is for the next few days after egghead started cancelling orders. just making my comment now since i wont be checking back.

It really depends on how they handle it

If they decide to charge our cards(they are only authorized right now as far as i've been able to find out from my CC company) and then cancel, i think at this point we have certain rights.

however if they just cancel orders say sorry, it was a pricing error, i plan on letting it drop.
