HOT Deal for anyone interested in high-end audio recording via PC

I've recently gotten into the recording of music via a PC, and about the best card out there, is the Yamaha DSP Factory (DS2416). If you want information, specs, etc on this card, visit Yamaha's site here:

This card has coaxial digital input and output for use with your 5.1 home stereo receiver, and one set each of RCA input and outputs, also for sending to your stereo. For anyone, like me, who does not use multimedia speakers, and uses their home stereo, this is a great card, because the signal sent isn't coming out of a 1/8" output and is much cleaner and stronger.

This card retails for $799, marsmusic and americanmusical both sell this card for about $599, but this website has it for only $375 and the card is well worth it. Card cannot be purchased online for this price, but here is the website with contact info:

does this sort of card allow you to control your stereo from your pc? or is it just an audio in/out connection?

Whether or not it works with WinME is yet to be seen. This is a rather new audio card, in the last 6 months, so I assume support is either there or will work very soon. This is the best audio card money can buy for mixing and recording though. I've heard a LOT of people talk about it. For $375 it is WELL worth the purchase price.

this card can actually allow you to modify sounds.... such as reverb, echo, large hall effects, among a million other things.. you obviously can't control your stereo's volume through the card itself, because it would be hard to integrate with all stereos.. if you're interested in recording or mixing audio, there is no other alternative, this is the top of the line....
