Hot Deal for Florida HDTV Big Screen - Mitubishi 55511 @ Brandsmart B&M

Just picked up a Mits. 55511 55inch HDTV integrated for $1598. Warranty was $108 for 2 years.

If any of you are in the market for a nice rear projection tv with built in HDTV...this one is nice.

No DVI but who cares....it's loaded and they'll probally have a DVI converter if necessary in the future if they don't have one already...

brandsmart always has kickass prices..... but to be honest, i cant stand to shop there.... The last few times i went to the store at sawgrass, i had to speak spanish to get anyone to pay any attention to me and to sell me something... As if that wasnt enough, when you buy anything, you then have to wait out back at that loading dock for 30 minutes while those morons look for your product.

awesome prices, but seriously need work on the CS there...

Yeah aphex I know what you mean about shopping there...I went to the one in Miami and it was super packed even though it was poring down rain all weekend...

but the prices really can't be beat compared to BB or CC...

Well i live over in Sarasota at the moment, but i pretty much grew up in Coral Springs (and if i get into UM Law), will be moving back pretty soon...

not sure is they've expanded...I know they are local in South Florida...but if they are..definitely check em out...great prices and you can haggle with them..

looks like only FL locations..

also...the salesman don't say anything..but if you apply for the Mitsubishi credit..it's no payments no interest or accrued till Jan. 2005..

peeps...just set up the tv and damn it looks incredible...watched the Super Bowl in HDTV and it was incredible..if you're in FL buy this tv it's worth every penny...

Plantation here, recent (3yrs) transplant from NYC. Can't stand that store, but can't resist the value you get, last time there, i ended up with a vacumn, toaster, coffee pot and handheld vac

I got my Toshiba 42HX81 from Sound Advice for about $2K (the anti-Brandsmart).

Oh and good luck with UM Law, i knew some people who went there. Its a good school. I took the FL bar a few years ago, its a tough one!

For the Broward folks, the clearance center has moved to "Griffin & 441"
Hours are Thu-Mon 10-7 except Sun 11-5

Of course they have all kinds of gadgets, beyond tvs. "Must resist"

Just an FYI the 55511 (basically all the 11 series) are the older 2003 models.
The price is great for that TV, but the 55413(the 13 series(2004) is a superior TV in many
ways. However it does cost about $500 more then the price posted for the 11.
Consider though that the 413 does not have an intergrated HD tuner, but has superior
tubes over the 513. Wierd that Mits made a TV with a higher model and more features,
but with lower visual quality. To get the best of both the 413 and the 513 you have to
get the 613.

The 13 series is called the silver plus series.
I have the 55413 and love it. To bad I don't have Hi-Def in my area yet.

great price on that unit. i'm still waiting for the dlp's to catch up with demand. and then watch the bottom fall out of the prices.

The 311 and 411 were the non integrated sets for that model year. 511 was the entry level, 611 was the mid level and 711/712 was the high end for their integrated sets. (model year 2003)
For the 2004, the 313 is the entry level non integrated, 413 is the best non-integrated set. 513 and 613 are entry level, 713 are mid and 813 are the high end for the integrated sets.
