Hot deal forum

I enjoy the hot deal's forum a lot...but one thing i wish you could do is some how put in there how long the post is been going
like Fat W. You know sometimes you see a deal and you think wow that looks good, but only to find out that deal is 10 days old
or so on. this could also be good for all the forums I think.

Her is a sample of Fat Wallets forum

30 days old

Dec/28/2002 4:07 am is the latest post to that thead
30 days old is how long that thead has been going.

Can this happen here I sure hope so.

Well, the simplest solution would be to add the "Date created" next to the "Last post" column, but I'm not sure if Zuni could do that easily (as it might require modification of the forum software), or if there are technical reasons why he might not want to do that, but if he could add it, I would appreciate such a feature also.

Since it's more likely a feature that would need to be added to the product as a whole, instead of something that could be quickly enabled for one forum, you should go to the Fusetalk suggestions page and submit a report there.

I see no reason to implement that feature since you can easily see how long the thread has been active by reading the date once you enter the thread.

Some of us are on slow internet connections, and loading every single thread to see when it was created can be a non-trivial chore.

I never stated that you had to load every single thread. The is a customize option to disable images, and only show a given number of posts once you enter a thread for you dial-up guys.
