This is at Mushkin.

And before everyone goes and craps some more on this- this is their best memory that runs 2-2-2. It's a good price for it, although I just can't quite bring myself to pay so much on memory.

$200 for 1G is about the limit for me. Still waiting for a deal...

it is actually $156, and it is probably the best pc3200 you can possibly buy. guarenteed to run 2-2-2

It is on www.mushkin.com

These work at 2-2-2. i checked corsair and ocz at newegg and googlegear but they didnt have a 3200 222. since mushkin had it and they were a lot cheaper i figured i would share the info...

Its up to you if you want to buy or not

Does anyone know if 2-2-2 will be any good for my Asus P4P800? I know I need PC 3200 DDR, but I'm wondering if 2-2-2 can turn out to be too fast and either the motherboard won't be able to take advantage of it or it simply won't work.

Ouch, that's alot of moola.

Don't they run sales on Level II 3500 dual-pack every so often? I think I would consider $300, maybe. If it's as good as everyone says it is- I want something that will last.

How much faster is 2-2-2 then say 2-3-3? Newegg has Corsair XMS 3-3-6 for $128.50, is the 2-2-2 really worth an extra 30 bux? I've always wondered how much the hardcore timings really help performance.

Mushkin is good stuff, but when you can get Twinmos for $100 a stick that will probably run the same settings it is hard to justify the price. Heck, I am running Kingston Valueram at 195 222 and I paid about $40 for two 512MB sticks of PC2700.....

Does the Mushkin 512MB PC3200 Blue (2.5-4-4 @ 400MHz) overclock well? If so, where can i found the info on how to do it? MB is IntelD865GLC P4 2.6c.
thanks!

You know I picked up twin pack of Geil Golden Dragon PC3200 2-4-6-6 1T and it runs just fine for $105 for 512MB total from Newegg. I think when you get down to the 222 timings you will never be able to tell the difference. I am running this memory on an Asus P4P800D motherboard and the CPU is clocked at 3.2GHZ (2.4 original). The most important part for this high speed memory has always been the CAS 2.0, the rest is just icing on the cake. Can you see a difference? Only in benchmarks. Realistically I only bench my systems right after they are built, I hardly ever bench then after that.
