Hot deal on a snowboard

I STRONGLY suggest that new snowboarders go to a snowboard or ski shop to get fitted for the right board & boots. This is a smoking deal for someone who knows what they are looking for and the right board size they need but there's nothing more miserable than being on a board that doesn't fit your skill, weight, height and style.

With Xmas only a short ways away a lot of the sporting good stores are running specials on Board/Binding combos, some of which are a steal! Also be sure to get a helmet, it's the best 60 bucks I've ever spent on sporting gear.

Decent deal for those w/o a board. Good work mikee. I'll stick with my Forum, though.

My board's white/grey, no ice problem. That's a load of BS. Also, find a board based on weight not height, like mrchan pointed out.

Just found the Snowboard Depot has a bunch of boards (with bindings) starting at $139 +$35 shipping. AirWalk and Ride brands.

Not sure what's the best deal, but I need a new board.

Those prices at snowboarddepot are awesome for a occasional rider like myself. Has anyone dealt with them before?

A friend of mine got an Airwalk board from Snowboard Depot. Some of them say right in the ad that they have some imperfection that does not affect performance. My buddy's has a small dimple on the top.

I'm just trying to figure out what the best board would be. Maybe I'll post in Off-Topic.

This would be cool, except I live in Florida. The most snow we ever had was 2 inches 8 years ago.
