Here's my 2 cents:
I've used several different lenses in the past, and the one's most comfortable for my eyes are Biomedics 55. For some odd reason they get more mileage w/o irratating my eyes. I try not to leave them in overnight, but in emergencies I've had to do it, and with the biomedics I don't wake up with disgusting dry red eyes. I've gone over 3-4 days at times without any problem, although I DO NOT suggest anyone keeping their contacts in over any prolonged period of time. I sense my eyes aren't as healthy now that I wear contacts, as opposed to when I was wearing glasses... afterall, putting objects in your eyes that can easily collect bacteria, while leaving them pressed against your eyeballs for 8-12 hours a day can't be good. Hopefully laser eye surgery will be close to perfection in a few years. My grandmother had a doctor mess up her eyes and she's now 90% blind in one eye, so I'm not about to risk it yet.
