Blue screen of death!!! On W2K. Includes a stop 0x0000000A...irq_not_less_or_equal and ntoskrnl.exe error message. When I unplug the USB module and reboot W2K has no problems. I installed it on win98se and works great. If you have any ideas, solutions, any direction you can point me to I would really appreciate it.

I emailed them twice myself. I will keep on working on it. If I figure out anything I will post it here. By the way, If I connect the module while I'm W2K is running it works but gives me the blue screen in different times. I did surfed the web from my laptop 2 rooms away and it's beautiful. But it is unpredictable...for now.

I get the exact same blue screen of death whenever I plug mine in. It worked well the first day and then it started going into the blue screen. I'm running it fine on my desktop, but my ThinkPad T20 is the one going crazy. Let me know if you find anything out:

Update on win2000 install...

This is the response of the "technician" at acerneweb. The whole point of my eamil was of course the sustem lockups in win2000.

Make sure that you unistall Warplink, After that try rebooting the system after you reboot when it detects the warplink click on the cancel button then go to you add and remove programs from there install the drivers from the CD. After you install the warplink drivers reboot then put the cd WIn98 in than that
should finish the install for the Warplink.

Win2000 finally works:

This is what i did. Try at your own risk.
After unistalling and installing many times I realize tht is not the way to go...that includes dealing a non existent tech support. Unbelievable. Do these people want to make some $ or what?

I went into the registry and I deleted every single mention of acer/warplink. You will be amzed what you will find. I used both regedit and regedt32. You will need both.

Of course i reinstalled once again. Alas, no luck.
So I did a whole win2000 recovery using the recovery disk. You will need a recovery disk of course to do that. Very painless...and guess what? IT WORKS. I am also using analogx and it's a beauty. No crash yet and I hope is not just good luck.

If you do the recovery, which I guess you should try, make sure you have handy on a disk any drivers,ex. scsi because you will need them.
I chose the default recovery which checks for everyhting and I let it replace every single file it found that it wasn't there when I installed it the first time.

Hope this helps to those who suffered.

Loaded AnalogX and it works *great*, have internet access from
four systems now.

I had one problem a few days after loading it, if you just disconnect
the USB Warplink while everything is running, at times it causes things not
to work right.

I tried everything to no avail.

Saw the recovery option, did that, everything works great again.

I'm on Win98, but I can second the above, using the instant recovery,
or whatever it is called.

Any tips on getting faster communication? I know there are only 1mb but any ideas will be appreciated. Slows down when you go 3 rooms away.

You could check on where you have to tranceiver/receivers located...mine works great over 150ft away and still says %100 connection. Anyone else with a set let me know I need another one for my other laptop...
