Another thing to note is that the AV cables are not included - cheapskates!!
Personally I didn't understand how RS stayed in business until tonight. An "old dear" (i.e. female of pensionable age) was enquiring in RS about buying a digital camera as an Xmas present. The girl behind the counter was telling her that the Fuji she was buying had "two million megapixels" (wow!). She was also selling her a 128MB SmartMedia card for $99. It was as much as I could do to not call the police and report a mugging. Meanwhile I was walking out of the shop with $200 worth of stuff for $20. I guess the police could have arrested me too for theft!Originally posted by: uwannawhatGuess rs has to stay in business somehow. I once asked a manger how they compete with other electronics stores. He said it's in all of the cables/adapter/connectors they get to sell. I mean how many people are gonna buy a tv or other major apliance @ rs?
