The cost for cash transactions is 50¢ per transaction, plus 1% of the transaction amount up to a maximum fee of $1,000.

I think everyone should just stick w/ Paypal. I just got d*cked over w/ ExchangePath for about $500. I called customer service and got a one-line answering machine (no real voice mail system).

Back to Paypal it is!

PayPal RulZ!

I tried to buy a video card off eGay from a new seller. Well he had PayPal, so I sent him the $250. He took the money and keeps claiming "I'll mail it out tomorrow" or "I mailed it out yesterday". (This went on for over 2 weeks).

Anyway, because he was a Verified PayPal user, I am protected up to $5000. But you have to wait for at least 30days, but not more than 60days, from end of auction to submit a fraud claim form.

eGay has some protection, but a $250 max, minus a $25 processing fee....not even going to bother with them.

BTW, one of the guys he ripped off on eGay is a lawyer/partner in a firm down in LA....he is going to sue (suppoesdly).


And....I never pay fees with PayPal...
