I know this will probably get locked. But, I fail to understand why the other stupid CLASS ACTION threads don't get locked. It's turning into a sleaze lawyer referral board.

C'mon people. You've gotten lots of hot deals from some of these companies. Some of us would like to get more in the future. Jump on these deals if you catch them and don't raise a ruckus cause you didn't (as in the EggHead case)....

really didn't need another one, but i couldn't agree with you more. i guess some people just don't have anything else better to do with their lives...suggestion, go down to the local shelter and serve lunch...mentor a child...etc. don't go sueing every company that makes a mistake

While I'm suing my own mother, is it OK to ask her for money to pay for my lawyer. That would be really hot deals. Instead of paying for the lawyer, I'll just keep the money to myself and be happy that way.

If you guys ever had to deal with buy.com charging your credit card or taking money out of your bak accoutn and never shipping items,

or egghead/onsale screwing us,

or staples charging us more than what we authorized on our CC's

or xcom canceling overdraft and causing bounced checks and LATE MORTGAGE PAYMENTS

then maybe you would understand.

Companies these days have no "REAL" customer service, the only way to get a company to improve their policies is via litigation, as this is the only time they are FORCED to respond. Buy.com only became a good place to shop after a COURT ORDERED them to stop improper business practices...
