funny post. think of this as a 1/2 price sale. in california we have community property. so,
anything she comes with (property, including the money you bid for her) is half yours when
you get married (provided there is no pre-nup). therefore, you're only paying half the winning bid.

With the kind of money she's going for, she'll get a better lawyer than you. I wouldn't advise trying to use that old "what's yours is half mine" routine. Anyway, I think I'll have to keep my current model. I can't afford the upgrade.
