Hot deal for the OP since it appears he has an affiliate link in the URL he posted.

What ever happened to noobs not being able to post links for the first 25 or 50 posts? You'd also think there would be some way to remove affiliate codes from URL's for the more well known sites such as Amazon, thus making the forum less attractive to spammers. It should be easy enough, though I know they don't like messing with the forum code here.

$90 for a 1tb is the everyday best-buy or anyplace price. This is still a good drive, but the 2tb model at amazon is only $126 shipped right now which is a vastly better deal. I got the 2TB model for $112 on cyber monday.

Furthermore, WD is rolling out their Passport Edge with 500GB/1TB here now/soon and 2tb later this year. Might as well wait and either get the slimmer model, or a deal on the older one.

it's internal 3.5" but still.

this forum is really good about weeding out spammers. the members alone smell them from a mile away.. one of the reasons i like posting here is because most of the members are real people looking for honest answers.
