I googled 3gplaza, and it seems a lot of people don't get their rebates. Steer clear.

You know what they say..."If it is too good to be true"....

I wouldn't pay 3x the retail cost of something on the hopes that I'll get 3x back in rebates. The high asking price should be scaring everyone off from this deal...it stinks.

Check out these comments about this company's rebates.

Dealer does NOT honor rebate. Dealer ignores repeated effort to resolve. Must deal with credit card to resolve dispute. Buyer BEWARE of 3GPlaza

rebates are a scam their hoping that the gullible will fall for it don't play this kind of games! either sell cheap or not... rebates = we want to hold onto your money and will invest in it half of the time i don't receive my rebates i don't play this kind of games advertising something as cheap with a string attached is shady and dishonest... They do it so they get ontop of the pricewatch list this is illegal someone take them off the list... they shouldn't be advertising

Rebate is only available during 12/03/2007 ~ 02/28/2008 while quantity last.

Um, the fact that they write at a 6th grade level might be a red flag.....along with the 12-16 week rebate period.....and the New Joisey address.

Didn't The Sopranos end?

looks good to me, in for a dozen or so ... I only need about 7 grand ... if I get the rebate back it's gonna be $60 for all 12 of them. Thanks OP, love it!

yeah right =] did you guys notice the positive feedbacks in the link above are a little too enthusiastic? And are littered with the same grammaticall erros as their web site? That's a pretty clever joe we dealing with there, probably a one man e-store.

particularly love these comments:
- Never used you before but I am thoroughly pleased!
- I've been using 3Gplaza for years and never had a problem. Best hardware vendor ever.
- 3gplaza wasn't one of the easiest online merchants, but they could offer good service as other earlier stores.
- I almost forget my "mail-in-rebate" check but I got it 2days ago. I ordered samsung 19" lcd Monitor and very satisfy the service & product.
- I have also utilized the live chat, with questions promptly and professionally answered. The only problem is that the website is not good designed, not beautiful enough...
- I would thanks more much,you guys....
- Have dealt with them many times, and find them still very reliable and honest.Have no unhappy things happened at present.

! ordered 100 for $500. I will be selling them a low low price of $100 each. That will be a $9,500 profit.

Seriously folks, this 3Gplaza site says that the BX80557E6600 Retail is $879.99. Whilst Newegg says the BX80557E6600 Retail is $229.99.

Most likely they have none in stock.. when you buy one they order it from newegg and send it to you... they keep the 400$ and give you rebates "while supplies last"... yes, very clever. I Wonder if they even give you a process at all.

lol

Supposed list prices... The E6600 Retail is $879.99, and the Q6600 Retail 749.99 on that site.

Hmmm... They are both LGA775 2.4GHz 1066FSB 4MB L2. Except the Q6600 has twice as many cores.

This just gets better and better. ROFL!!!!
