Have any of the Bush supporters objectively checked out his record, both before entering politics - especially his numerous unsuccessful attempts in the oil business -and as being Governor of Texas? His part-ownership in the Texas Rangers?? "Here - we're going to hand you part of the team. And you won't have to pay for it until after we sell the team." So then they had a new stadium built, paid for by the local taxpayers via a sales tax increase, increasing the value of the team. Promptly sell the team and cash out for a multi-million dollar profit. I'm not going to try to quote exact figures because I can't recall them off-hand, but I think his profit on this deal was along the line of 14 million. Anyone want to try to say that he doesn't have some serious obligations for being handed that on a silver platter? And if anyone doesn't think that Bush and Cheney both are not in the oil companies' pocket is not accepting the obvious.
I suspect that some people aren't going to vote for Bush, rather they are voting against the Democrats.
IMHO, Bush has absolutely no track record to support his being President. Could someone list his accomplishments, as opposed to his promises? I suspect it would be a very short list.
