Just tried to call the bastards, they told me that the coupon they send for 10% off via email is randomly sent among their list of emails. I asked the rep do they think it is a good diea to do that and why would I join a mailing list if I was nto able to get all the discounts availabel to everybody else. Then I asked if I could get the coupon code.

No, it's not. The coupon I am referring to is valid from 4/19/06 until 5/2506 and is found on the inside back cover of an 80-page catalog that comes in the mail from Circuit City with a regquest in-home delivery date of 4/24/06 - 4/26/06.

It is NOT the Sunday circular. It is a separate Mother's Day mailer/catalog that comes separately in the mail. I probably won't get time to scan it, but if anyone has it and could post a scan, it would eliminate any confusion. I described the covers a few posts up.

Not the appropriate place to discuss this but to answer the question...

Probably around the time Vista is released to the general public which will also contain DirectX10 exclusively in it. Based on what little I've read on the matter; DirectX10 will only work in Vista and not on previous versions of Windows. I bet we'll see DX10 capable cards around 11/06.

Just thought I'd let you know, got mine today, it is the 7900GT CO and, quite humorously, CC includes a $15 off $100 coupon that is good until 5/31/06 in the box.

Edit: The box also says "Built for Windows Vista."
