I was just looking at the VisionTek Ti4200 at Buy.com. The card is 217.95 less a 20.00 rebate less an easily findable 15 off 150 coupon. The total would be $182.95 with free shipping. Would like to see this card review also.

I own an EVGA Geforce2MX for a long time now and wouldn't hesitate to buy another EVGA brand. EVGA has a user forum so you can see other's experience.

The description of the card in NewEgg says it has "Dual DB-15 connectors". I don't think that is correct. It should have 1 DB-15 connector and 1 DVI connector. I e-mail NewEgg about it, I am not going to order it unless it comes with DVI. I was just about to order it too.

They also have the same great deal at NS Technologies with their same EVGA model with free 3-day shipping.

don't they have db-15 to DVI (analog) adapters? I know they have DVI (analog) to db-15 adapters for the radeon 8500 cards so you can use an analog LCD or regular CRT. same concept?

HOT DAMN! Now wonder NewEgg is so higly rated for their customer support. I just e-mail them about 5 minutes ago about the problem I stated before, error in description, well I was just about the leave my PC when I decided to check my e-mail and there was a reply from NewEgg. They said this :

"it was a typo, it comes with 1 dvi and 1 vga, as seen in the picture, the ad has been fixed."

I quickly went to the site and checked it out, sure enough, it had been corrected. NOW I'M GOING TO ORDER IT!

Sounds interesting. I was looking at the 4400 but the 4200 is kind of appealing too. The one different I see, I think, is that the 4400/4600 use the BGA memory which runs much cooler than the standard chips used on the 4200. I could be way off here so correct me if I'm wrong. That Buy.com deal also sounds pretty sweet.

they are having nothing but troubles with the BGA memory - returns galore
also noted somewhere that the Korean Zuma brand Ti4200 overclocked to Ti4600 levels (305/708) in a review (no link, sorry), so I'm waiting to see if its ever available here. Supposed to be in distribution soon.

Evga is a good buy tho, never had any prob with the ones I bought.

bga memory is awesome !!!! i ran 4 sticks of it in my old p3 600 and i never maxed out its fsb.. the stuff is like liquid gold
