Southwest.com has a yet-unpublished fare sale for flights operating on the 4th of July, starting at $29 one-way and up to about $145 one way for cross-country flights. Not all cities seem to be covered by the sale, and the discount applies only to flights on the 4th of July. 3-day advance purchase required, but I doubt that there will be many seats left on Friday.
This fare is combinable with any other fare type (such as a 7-day advance purchase, or full fare) so it might be good for those of you who have been looking for good fares but can't find any because the decent fares are already sold out.
