Then they kept nagging me to buy more stuff that i dont need. I never went there again. I hope fry's is not like that.

of the four i have been to, never. san diego, OC, san jose, and vegas. they are chillin, and there are a ton of workers too. so when you need help, always an aisle away or so. no hounding. wait till you go to one, damn things are huge.

Aye, ditto. May Nashville be next. Failing that, we may have to get together for a drive down to Atlanta sometime when they've got a really smokin' gotta have it deal.

now you'll get to learn how to examine items closely for little white stickers...

Explain please

The majority of products in the store have white stickers on them meaning they are used/returned.. I don't know how they do it but more products have the stickers than those that don't.. Often times the "deals" are all on returned products (I go to buy something on sale and all they have left are the ones with the white stickers on them)... Not a big deal most of the time but it just shows that they do no return merchandise to the manufacturer, they put a white label on it and put it back on the shelf (unless it's really messed up)..

Fry's is a blessing imo since more options are always better... But during sales you should be ready.. You know how when Best Buy has a sale and that morning there is a line (especially during times like Black Friday).. Well the line at fry's on pretty much ANY sale is MUCH longer.. Of course the store is much bigger... During peak shopping times (like Christmas) expect the line to literally wrap around the store multiple times (and if you have never seen a fry's think of a large Walmart)....

Thanks Rdmustang for clearing that up for me.
Wow as big as a walmart huh? That's pretty frickin huge!
Is it kinda like a BB and Compusa put together? I've never actually asked what a Fry's inventory encompasses.

WoooooooHooooooooo!!! My prayers have finally benn answered! I've been waiting for a Frys here for a loooong time. Too bad I'm in Newnan and it will we on the other side of the world! I guess that's a small price to pay for some hot deals (and new PM possibilities) though...

Now if only they can make their way further up North, say Louisville KY, I would be a happy camper.

Fry's sells things that Compusa, BB and CC will never sell.

Do you mean like beef jerky, porno, and cheap cpu/mobo?
Yeah, fry's have everything you can think of if you're the electronic freak, no other store come close.
