Hot for Dreamcast owners: Controller for 99 cents!

I stumbled across this at my local Big Lots in Las Vegas. I am not certain if this item is stocked nationwide but they do have over 1400 stores in 45 states. There is a store locator on their home page.

The controller is the GamePro Gear for Dreamcast, I used it all night tonight and it works well. The Big Lots I got it in had about 100 on the shelf and they were all marked at 99 Cents.

i would recommend u buy them all and start selling them here to people, not to make huge profit but maybe a bit of a markup, either way it will be cheap for everyone

It's people like you who go to BestBuy at 8:01 in the morning and grab and dump all 20 Western Digital hard drives to go Ebay them off. Deals posted here aren't to monopolize on, otherwise why should anyone post anything, if someone's going to graft off of it?

BTW, thanks for the deal, I don't need any controllers, but this is a killer find -- I remember paying $3 for them + shipping at EB a while ago.

if i'm not mistaken, i think CHAOSMAN was only saying that to help those that can't find any or don't have a big lots near them.

Found these at the Boulder Highway location in Henderson.

Hope they have them at some other locations, but I don't think there is anyway to know other than calling or going into the store.

No these are made by Interact and called Gamepro like the magazine.

Where exactly did you find them in the store? I went in there yesterday after I got off work, and I didn't find any of them. It seems strange that 100 controllers would sell out in a few hours. Plus, the employee that I asked made it seem like they never carried any Dreamcast stuff. This was all at the 498 South Boulder Highway location, btw.

I was puzzled by your remark that 100 would sell in a few hours. I looked back at my original post and discovered that I indeed said there were 100, it was supposed to read 10. Sorry about that typo!

niceeee...big lots always has stuff on sale. I got a Microsoft Sidewinder controller for my comp a few months ago for 5 bucks. They usually have random stuff up at different stores. Sometimes it's nationwide and they normally sell discontinued products (since companies are coming out with new products or totally swiping their product from the shelves and liquidating). They also sell products that have been refurbished. Either way, it's a good deal because everything is so cheap.
