That link tells me it is 20.00 ?/year. Where do you see anything for free?

You have to do search for .be domain you want you will see either it is available or not, and you will also see 0 price for it.


I think you can have upto 20 free, i registered 6.

It says only set up is free, but there is a 20 ?/year fee when you go to your cart

ive got two registered, trying to confirm my fake details now.

When I tried the site, it wants to charge me 4E per address for a set up fee (20 E - 16 E) at checkout, despite being seemingly free when you start.

You have to be carefull look for .be domains when you search. The result shows you different domains available or taken.

Only .be domains are free.

As a total newbie to this, can anyone offer suggestions for the next step, which I think is webhosting. I work at Tulane University in New Orleans. We will be back up in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime, I have no one to ask about this. I presume, I will use the site(s) for professional stuff, personal email, and lots of Katrina pics and short movies.

Any assistance appreciated.

Try www.hostumlim.com or www.hostdepartment.com (look down left side for free webhosting). They explain what ya gotta do for free hosting....or find a paid host (several are recommended in these forums.
