Click that and it'll take you where you want to go. Shamelessy ripped off of Gideontech, they have some awesome case mods over there.

** EDIT **
OK, so this is supposedly a shameless repost too, so let it die.

fill out a tedious form to save 40 cents... woo hoo!

no wonder the USPS is set to lose $300-$900 million this year.

Over and over again this is a hot deal $0.40 adds up, I only use USPS Priority so this saves me about $8 a week.

I for one am looking forward to the government reacquisition of the Post Office. The damn SOBs gave themselves all raises just because productivity was up never mind that they were still way under the productivity levels of their two competitors. So what happens? they raise the prices of stamps every damn month and do not come out with the correct amount stamps to go with it and you find yourself using millions of $0.01 stamps. Damn right I will steal every penny back from these guys that I can.

As for the form it is not tedious at all you enter the address field that's all. If you print out labels you already do this at one point or another anyway.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Anyone who sells crap on eBay can save money using this.

I'm seeing more and more critisism of posts recently - this annoys me even more than lurkers. Remember the old saying ' if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all' ?

This is awesome. Since I sell a lot of stuff on ebay - this will save quite a bit.

However, how do most people affix them on to the package? Do you print it on plain paper and use something like a glue stick, or do you print it on adhesive labels? Which then begs the question, does anyone have any hot deals on adhesive labels for this?

Also, I've never seen this before either. So what if it's a repost? Ignore it then. Replying with text that this is a repost just bumps it to the top of the list anyway, so what's the point?

Here's another hot deal tip: Get one of those free cuecat bar code scanners. With a small software hack, you'll be able to scan ANY barcode, including delivery confirmations. Try to get the USB model since it's hot swappable. Scan the code in, save to your database and/or email to your buyer. Much more professional, plus barcode swiping is much more faster and accurate than hand typing them in.

Just use regular clear scotch tape to tape the combo mailing label and electronic delivery confirmation form to your package. Only requirment is that the actual bar code NOT be taped over as the post office's old type scanners can't read through the tape.

The tracking number is normally not scanned in until delivery so there will no on-going status like when you purchase delivery confirmation at the window and the clerk scans in the number. In fact, they can't scan in the number. A lot of the clerks don't know this.

Anyway, this is a great deal. Just for filling out a to-from label, you basically save 40 cents a pop. It really adds up.

A HOT REPOST

Ok guys, sorry for the late response, been doing the holiday shopping thing that's taken time away. Here's what I use, CatKit32, which is actually a shareware app with only 10 scans per limit for unregistered, but you can close the app and reopen it again it immediately, so its a "friendly crippleware" program. Here's the link:

http://members.aol.com/powercntrl/

You wont need to do ANY hardware modification, it's all in the software. Now go do that scanning!

this is great but most post office people have no idea what this is and you have to keep explaining to them over and over.
