I've finally decided to join this forum although I've lurked around for a very long time. Thanks for the many deals! I've always wanted to give something back to the community but never got something except for this:

I got an invitation letter today for a free MCSE 2003 class from a training company in California.

Here's what it says:

"Neliance Training Services is now offering a free MCSE Class for a limited time. This instructor-led, 40-hour, hands-on, lab/lecture class is valued at $1,700 if purchased individually, and is Module 1 of Neliance's three-module MCSE hands-on training course. Upon successfully completing this class, individuals should not only have the ability to pass the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification**, but also be able to perform the tasks outlined under Topics Covered in Labs and Lectures below."

Their ad at http://www.neliance.com mentions a Promo Code. Did anybody get one? Please PM me the code if you got one. Thanks!

I e-mailed them to apply for their July start. Can't wait Who else is going? Anybody heard of that company before?

I may be new, but I've lurked around Anandtech for quite some time I've also been a long-time member of Fatwallet. Since I'm considering to join that class, I'm hoping to get some feedback from you guys about the company.

That's the point though. I don't know the code and am hoping that someone else can provide it. I'm seriously considering to sign up.

I talked with one of their instructors today and he sounded like he knows his stuff. Anyway, I asked why they are giving the class away for free. He said that they are sure that I'll like the class so much, that I'd sign up for more. So, I asked what's the catch? Nothing. You don't have to buy anything. So, I asked how you can get in? He said that all I have to do is pass their interview to make sure I'm passionate and knowledgable enough to want to get into the IT field. Their security deposit is to ensure you don't break anything and to ensure you're serious about taking the class and not drop out at the last minute. Sounds good to me. So, definitely a HOT deal for those of you looking for training and/or living in California.

Ranger: Sorry... I've been a lurker for quite some time and know about the rules, but I felt that this was a hot deal. I still think it is.

The coupon thing: Yeah, that's why I asked if somebody could Private Message me one rather than post in the thread By the way, one of my classmates from college got one. I used it and it worked. So, it's not a one-time use code for sure. PM me if you want it.

As I stated on other forums, I got my interview today. Their lab isn't fully up yet and so it'll be interesting to see if it'll be ready by next week. Each student apparently will get about $5,000 worth of equipment and they seem to be pretty knowledgeable. Their interview was like a job interview...
