Hey Brotherman - The deal is not going anymore. (Sorry for the tone of this post, but if someone doesn't want to read the first few posts and the last few posts they deserve to smacked on the wrist a few times).
To determine it look at the following things.
1) The original post is in January and the latest posts are people talking about the rebates they received.
2) Copy the URL from the original post into your browser and try it - it doesn't work because the deal is over.
3) look at the post from CLYDSDALE on Feb12.. it states:
"**Rebate applies to Memorex CD-ROM 48X Drive (SKU 381913) purchased at Staples stores only. Purchase must be made between January 11, 2001 and January 20, 2001. All requests MUST be postmark by February 20, 2001.***"
The rebate period is over so, even if you did get the drive you couldn't get teh rebate.
