HOT Gamecube Deal

Alright this is super hot if you purchased a gamecube at meijer last week. Bring in a receipt with a circular from Best Buy or Circuit City
Explain to them about the free game deal and they will match it. Well they did with me.

Also you can pricematch Circuit City's Gamecube price for 134.99 to BB 110% pricematch guarantee and still get a free game.

Free games are Metroid Prime, Mario Party 4, Starfox Adventures, and last but not least, Resident Evil Zero

I price matched the meijer deal to circuit city last week to get the extra 10%, (game cube for $81, baby!) and I'm gonna go tomorrow and try to get the free game out of it.

I have a PS2 and an XBOX.. but I want a GC.. it has the BEST GAMES EVER! With incredible reviews for The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker (even though the graphics don't look the best), it's kind of hard not to buy a GC. I already pre-ordered the wind waker game w/ "two" free games (ocarina of time & ocarina of time: master quest). Now, I just have to find a good deal on a GC

I'm not sure if Meijer has a price match policy, but that's why I went to circuit city. CC price matches in a manner that if you buy something from them, and see a better deal next week, they will make the adjustment and give you the benefit. You could try going to meijer, but they are more than likely to shoot you down because of the sale. Where as CC is more than likely to over see that.

You should try (but don't be shocked if it doesn't work) going to Meijer, with your receipt, and tell them, "last weekend I bought a gamecube, and this weekend, this deal is going on." and flash the ad. And say "Is there any way I can get the free game that's being offered?"

I would do either Circuit City Gamecube ($139) plus game or Mario Sunshine Bundle for $159

The GC has some of the best games on any platform. Honestly, I don't see how anyone can ignore the GC as a serious contender--especially at these prices. I own an XBOX and GC, btw.

BTW, Best Buy matched CC's price of $139 in N. California, so no extra 10% PM savings.

i got the gc at frys for Shinj1EVA hehe
and i got the following for $149.99 + tax

black gamecube
wavebird controller
metroid prime

good deal!!!
the price didn't ring up at 149.99 at first but he looked at the ad and fix the price

wErd. The only thing I would get for the XBOX is...umm....Halo? For the PS2 I would get Final Fantasy X of course and maybe a few others but for Gamecube... Mario Sunshine, Zelda, Final Fantasy Chronicals, Skys of Arcadia, Soul Calibur 2 (even though its for all other systems now, work first began on the GC platform), F-Zero, Animal Crossing, ....
