Kind of funny...
When I first opened it, IE7 opened two new copies of itself instead of operating in "tabbed" mode.
I guess old habits die hard.
That being said, I like the "new interface" (which to my knowledge was developed by Opera, not Firefox). First time I have appreciated IE in several years (of course, that's at first blush). Now, I'll have to wring-it-out!

Wow!
Looks like M$ may have learned that there is a keyboard attached to that mouse!
Lots of keyboard commands available...

Hmmm...so who did they buy out? Maxthon, maybe?

/me considers the possibility that they developed IE7 on their own...then bursts out laughing....

Any big changes from Beta 1??? I've been running Beta 1 for some time now and really like it.

I'm using it now on A/T and it is working flawlessly...
Oh, wait! I assume several "Linux" things will be *cough * cough* "broken".

Put it on my machine at work, only had a few minutes with it but I was unimpressed. I do like the increase in screen real estate over IE6, but they're going to have to do better to make me switch back from FF/Opera

Thx for the heads up OP, but I think I'll stick with firefox for now...

I started with a quick spyware scan, found none.
opened IE7 went to known spyware site (flowgo.com)
repeated spyware scan, found 1 file,... deleted
opened firefox went to the same site
scanned again, no spyware
repeated process with IE7 again, found spyware.

Will check it out again when the final comes out.

Fair enough
You must uninstall IE 7 Beta 1, restart, install IE 7 Beta 2, restart and then you can use it.

I like it much better than Beta 1. The layout is nicer. There is a separate "stop loading" and refresh button now, which I missed in Beta 1. The multiple home pages option is very cool, as is the ability to let new items open in a new tab vs. a new window. Beta 1 decided how it'd control all that, which was somewhat annoying since some links would open up a new tab while others, a new window.

The "Quick tabs" feature is very nice since I generally have about 15-20 tabs at times. So far, all my sites work great and I'm very pleased with this product. If you're wondering....stop wondering and try it out. It's quite nice. The zoom feature is also very cool.

So basically, its FIREFOX, but with all the wonderful security issues and breaches that we've come to love from M$. Um, thanks but no thanks. Wonder how long it will be before M$ sends out 14 sec. patches to everyone who has been hacked.

Had to uninstall it - the blurry text was driving me crazy. Anyone else? I tried changing the fonts but they stuck...
