I'm not specifically worried about extension style tweaking, but it's just not customizable enough. You can't not have the address bar at the top, you can't change the position of the back/forward/stop/refresh/home buttons, and they put 400 extra things on the tab-bar. That's just not going to fly.Originally posted by: JuryDuty
Wow--amazingly getting to look more like Firefox. I have to stick with FF though until IE has as many extensions, etc...

The one thing I think IE has over FF right now is 64 bit support. Assuming they release IE 7 in both 32 and 64 like they have IE 6.

Any big changes from Beta 1??? I've been running Beta 1 for some time now and really like it.
There's a "quick tabs" feature that shows snapshots of the open tabs in the main window.Originally posted by: JJHayesIII
does IE7 allow you to arrange your windows within the main window (tile, cascade...etc) like Opera/Avant? IMO that feature is a MUST have in any tabbed browser, it's also one of the reasons I don't use FF anymore (in addition to slow load times, and IE being standard at work)

GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND, why would you ask something like that here?

I come across the occasional poorly writen website that isn't writen to proper web standards and won't work with FF. But the speed, customization, relatively few security holes, and oodles of extentions available seem to make FF superior, even though IE picked up tabbed browsing.
Heck, Fasterfox and AdBlock alone have sped up my surfing a good deal.
Are there any benefits of this IE7 beta over Firefox?
