HOT!!! Glass Audio Rack at Walmart B&M $79.93 YMMV

This is a super hot deal if you need one of these. I picked two of them up at two different stores. Each store only had one left. You can buy these on WalMart.com but the price is $298.73. It says on the site they're only available online but they DO have them in some stores. As with any WalMart B&M deal YMMV

Yeah - I'd like to get one too - but I can't get through to any of the Walmarts in this area (SF Bay Area). I'd drive to one but each B&M is 30 miles in a different direction.

i went to the one in saddle brook, nj.....but didnt see anything made by bush at all. If you could still scan the receipt i'd appreciate it though.

I might be able to price match at the website, not sure , but worth a shot....

ok deal, but from the pic it only looks to be worth about 79 dollars.

Ok here's the deal on this:

1. The model linked at WalMart online is made by Bush and is called "Eclipse Collection Audio Rack".

2. The model for $79 that is at the WalMart B&M store is made by Home Trends and it's called "CD shelf" (even though it looks like a shelf for audio components).

I just bought one of these, (my WalMart had only one left) and I haven't had a chance to open it and put it together, but the above information should make things easier if you are calling around trying to find it. It does look like the exact same unit other than two different companies are selling it at a vastly different price. Good find. It's amazing that Bush is selling their version for $200 more! What a rip-off.

A few thoughts:

BJ's has the two Eclipse pieces by Bush for ~$170 each.

The construction is better and nicer looking on the Eclipse than the Home Trends, but not $200 nicer. IIRC, Eclipse has slightly thicker glass, too.

The Home Trends dimensions are slightly smaller than the Eclipse; it's only spec'ed for a 35"TV while the Eclipse says 36" TV.

My Walmart had one on the shelf but would not sell it. The manager said that they were out and expected more.

I am not sure whether or not to believe him. He looked like a real sleaze ball that was just making up a story.

I bought one, its not like the one on the site, the one posted on the site is made by Bush which is a higher end model, the one sold in the store has the same design but slightly cheaper. It works really well and looks nice for $79.
