HOT!! Hammer 250gb External USB Drive for $39.99 AR YMMV

I got one of these Hammers last month when it was $139 AR. Fired it up to do a backup of my machine and it works pretty nice, really easy to setup and use with the backup software it comes with, runs quietyly in the background. You just hit the button and it does an incremental backup whenever you want or you can sked it. It also works just fine as a normal external USB drive.

I think I'll use it for backing up my internal 80GB WD and then as normal storage for never-moved files such as music (legally ripped from CDs).

No & I ordered early this morning.

I just placed an order on a cpu/mobo/combo & had my 2nd email within 10 mins. of ordering.

I wonder if they are pushing the 2nd day orders ahead of the others then sending them out in order after they have fulfilled the 'rush' orders?

I checked this forum in the morning and awww missed this thread... shucks....
If I did get this, would have swapped out the 250gb with my 80gb and used the 250gb internally....
Would have been sweet next to my $30 160gb from BF at BB.

After you call, post as usual. I have 2 emails, but I am still listed as backordered. I will also be calling the rebate company, it might be the SHIP DATE when purchased online. I know in store, it's purchase date. But online, its usual ship date.

which apparently is outpost slang for CANCELLED, because thats what the status says under the shipping status
