For anyone who has an order processing:
I have had orders where I was told by a supervisor that no matter how much i complain, it would not go through (PM on sony clie) and then although website still showed processing, I did receive the item. Point is: Staples messes up frequently and I would not be surprised if some people end up getting their visor deluxe shipped after all.

Dazamn! Went to B&amp;M this morning and the supervisor said he had to check it first.
I brought in my printed out shopping cart from 3am last night showing the $149 off and he couldn't believe it so he went to the customer access computer and tried it himself. It only showed the $60 off so he wouldn't give it to me. &quot;You should have ordered it online&quot;, was his response.

Oh well, not like I lost money or anything.

THIS SUCKSSSSSSSSSSS. Why is there ONLY 1 STAPLES in the chicago area? The closest one to me is 50 miles away. They have tons of stores near Bumblef*ck Arkansas but ONLY 1 IN THE CHICAGO AREA? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF? :| How many deals do I have to miss out on before they build one close to me? damn jackasses

Staples is screwing me - they are changing the discount to only $60. Now I have to refuse shipment on it. My advice would be to not contact customer service at all. I had to, because I accidentally ordered one without the coupon, and I wanted to cancel it...

I ordered mine about 12 hours ago, and my order is still processing. I don't know what's going on with it. It might still go through.

Cool story guys...a CSR from Staples just called me this morning and asked me where I found such a great deal. I told them the Anandtech forums and gave them the link to this hot deals forum. They said &quot;Cool! Now we can scan all the hot deals too!&quot; They then said something about law offices or something, but I didn't really care because I'm not into their office products...

You stupid idiots, stop calling Staples and bitching about not being able to get the $150 off! It was a mistake and they've clearly fixed it so stop whining and trying to get in on a deal that you missed because you're ruining it for everyone else. Remember the incident where &quot;you guys&quot; (the ones that gave away the forum) got that Officemax or Officedepot guy fired because of your bitching? Sheesh, get a freakin clue...

My order still shows good with $149.98 coupon. I had it shipped to a relatives house though because the were oos of all of them here in Phoenix. Hopefully they will honor this because I really needed one for school.

Well we know there are Staples employees here; managers probably know about it.

My guess is that pretty soon they (big business) will find a way to manipulate us to bring us into their stores with some kind of &quot;pricing error&quot; lure.

Just a guess. But I wouldn't be at all surprised.

EDIT: In case you missed it, I was J/K'ing about the lawsuit. I didn't bother to even try to order (I don't need a Visor and I felt it was an error not worth my time). However - knowing the Ferengi - I just wondered why no one mentioned a lawsuit yet.

This bites, I kept getting the run around this morning, they must have been switching the coupong and they were just trying to keep me from trying to get the deal. STAPLES sucks!

staples is notorious for dicking its customers. Whether they give you a hassle for perfectly legitimate price matching that is inline with their own printed policy or if they make changes to your order without any kind of notification you just have to hope you get lucky on things like this. I never buy anything from staples anymore UNLESS its crazy deal like this.

i'm going into 4 b&amp;m staples if i have to... i just called, and 4 staples within 10 miles of me have like plenty in stock, so the only thing i have to worry about is the coupon and stuffs now! good luck to me! hehehe

Let's see: I woke up at 10am during my summer vacation to call CSR so I could change the color of my visor (blue was out), only to find out my order had been canceled. That cost me about 3 hours of sleep! I'm gonna sue them for my lost sleep...oh, and if I say anything really stupid today and get in trouble for it I'm gonna add damages to my lawsuit, since I wouldnt have said anything dumb (like this joke post ) if I'd slept more.

Woulda been nice to grab one of these for $65, but it's really not the end of the world

A couple of comments:
- I ordered between 12-1am this morning, and all my orders still show the $150 off for the coupon.
- When Staples does not have a product in stock in your area, it automatically removes that product from your cart, and then recalculates the order to determine if your order meets the coupon codes. This is why if you ordered the visor, and it's no longer in stock, you are left with the software with no coupon code. Your order no longer qualifies for the coupon to take place. I believe this is all automated...
- If you get ANY out-of-stock messages for a product, it is out-of-stock. If you keep reloading, etc. until you actually get an in-stock message, they will just remove the product from your order at a later date. Their software does not seem to be real-time just quite yet. (Must be some bug in the code.) This will also cause the product removal process stated above, and the recalculation of coupons...

I'm sure it is automatic which makes it all the worse... I'm sure most people would rather know whats going on and not recieve a partial shipment at a different price without first approving it. Staples online has been doing this for at least two years already.If one of my items is out of stock I expect it to be backordered and either the rest of my shipment waits for it or it comes on its own when its back in stock. Thats how buy.com works and I think that makes sense.
