The box is only for OTA channels, not normal cable channels or cable HDTV channels. The RF jack is for an antenna.

And, like I said, the 2405FPW only has one DVI port.

i have mine hooked up to my toshiba 52 dlp via component and it looks damn good.
My antenna? a square AM antenna from an old receiver with the 2 wires jabbed into the coax slot. works like a freaking charm.

hmmm intersting. Ok let me make sure i understand this. In order to use the box i would need an attena because it uses OTA only? So if i got cable and updated to the HD package the reciever wouldnt work? or pickup those new HD channels?

i dont get it.. the ad on radio shack says

This HTS 6000 Digital HDTV tuner enables you to receive HDTV signals from cable or outside antenna,

Says it can recieve HDTV signals from cable and a Antenna?
so why didnt Tu13erhead get it to work?

If you read very carefully in the manual, it technically DOES work with cable, but it's a very specific type of cable that's VERY seldom seen today. It's NOT the same as normal cable company HDTV signal. I think it started with RSB or something like that, maybe someone else can confirm that?
