The selection in the Murray HD was certainly lame, I had much better luck in Hillsboro.

allisolm - In what section of the store did you find that cordless drill for $11?

Do you have the model number from the packaging?

This is only a hot deal if there's anything worthwhile for sale. I went to the HD near my work in Pleasanton and there wasn't squat. They had toasters, coffee makers, blenders, some cans of paint, baseboard heaters and a few light fixtures at 6:30 PM last night. I guess the deals vary upon location, because there's not much where I am.

RossMAN - they had them in the section with the balloons and the big 40% off signs and also in the power tool section. It's 9099KC, 7.2v cordless drill with keyless chuck. UPC 028877326764. Hope this helps.

Thanks allisolm & kimwipes.

I wonder if the CostCo in Aloha has any Queen sized Sealy beds left, if they do I could kill two birds with one stone.

the multi tool works very well and is comfortable to use, the extra battery is the incentive, something all rechargable items should come with.

Bought two sets of Malibu low voltage ligths for the lawn. They were $69 each originally. Got them for $20 each. They also have a very nice set for $89-40%, but sold out. There were more things on clearance, but nothing interested me. It seems some people had already raided the stores for good deals on Thurs (perhaps some employees?).

does the selection change, or do they just sell out of the sale items>????????????????????????????

do they put more out, or are they just sitting there with empty displays?

MOST stuff is not being restocked after it is gone, it really is a clearance sale so room can be made for new products, for example though, the flip top box in the organizer area is orderable for us, on clearance for 4.75 -40%, I personally have about 200 on order as I type this, but most are clearance items, all I can say is to go to EVERY Home Depot in your area and scan the shelves for all the HIDDEN deals, good luck!

<< Screaming deal.

I bought 17 boxes of engineered hardwood flooring - normally $67 for $38 each. Saved about $600. I am glad I held out!!!

Aquastar tankless water heater 125B <-- AWESOME UNIT!!!! - normally $475 for $230 WOW!!!!!!!

2 packs of spiral style compact flourescent lights 14 watts as much light as a 60 watt - normally $10 for $5.31

45 ft Commercial hose - normally $40 for $23.99

GREAT POST!!! Go throughout the whole store if and look for any yellow tags of any kind and knock off 40%!! Good stuff won't last long.

kevlarcc - FYI I purchased the Aquastar 125B (natural gas version- heats the fastest) from HD last year and had them install it. Final price was around $700.00 installed. The 125B is "supposed" to provide endless hot water. This is a crock of sh@t. It provdes about 5 minutes of hot water for one person (if your lucky) before the chill set in. I called Bosch about the unit and was told to check the specifications. These "tankless" water heaters are speced to provide hot water for "one major appication at a time". They do not tell you this in any of their sales promo literature. Basically the define one major application as 15 gallons / five minute period. Even those tiny apartment style washers use more than that. The people who define what one "major application" is must be the same peolple who label those serving sizes on food products. Has anyone ever eaten just one serving as defined on a food product / You would starve!. Anyway I complained to HD corporate and they switched the 125B out for the 254FX at no charge. Even with the 245FX which is the top of the line unit, you still have to use your hot water wisely. After the switchout, the manager at the HD whee I purchasd the unti from said that every 125B that they sold had been returned. The Aquastar is now available as a special order only and you must do an in-ouse consultation with a factory rep before purchasing. If you have not opened your 125B, IMO you should return it and get your money back. Otherwise you will be sorry!.

Well I finally was able to go to HD today. All I wanted was the 18volt Firestorm drill. THe guy confirmed it was under $60.00 but they did not have anymore in stock. He said they wouldn't be getting anymore in either.
Just my luck.

Just FYI regarding that 18V Firestorm Drill. Got for $70 each !
Look above your HEAD fellows......Not just at the Shelves.

Scored 2! After I had the guy there got a LADDER and get to the TOP of the Hardware department to FETCH them to me
And everyone is watching and an OLD man keep asking me how much. hehe
I told him and he got the last one.

And the employeeS there just CANNOT believe that the NEW MODEL is on clearance either.
They almost try to be lazy and not help me to get that ladder.

Thanks guys

I scored a cool ventless gas log fireplace set for $150 after 40% off (normally $250). Wish I would have had it for Christmas when everyone was over! Also got a nice pair of RCA stereo cables with 24k ends for 11.something after the discount.

Good deal!

Of course, one reason a gas log set is on clearance is that fact that it is after Christmas.

At the location in Kent, WA, I purchased a pack of 100 coax crimp connectors - regular $24.95, yellow tagged down to $5.00 less 40% = $3.00. Also purchased 3/4" pressure breaker valve for a water sprinkler system - Regular around $60, yellow tagged down to $5.00 less 40% = $3.00.
