Did you guys know that there are now lianli aluminium bezels for cdroms and floppies! No need to do that mod anymore. I think I saw it at sotrickedcomputers.

those bezels at sotrickcomputers...the description says "stick-on". does anyone know the quality of the plates and how well they stick? wouldn't want it to fall off after a couple months. i'm a click away from ordering the case.

Lian Li C-2 = SONY CDU-5211
Lian Li C-4 = Pioneer DVD-116
Lian Li C-6 = Teac CD-540E (also fits ok on my Teac CD-532E)
Lian Li C-7 = floppy drive cover. (fits ok on my Mitsumi floppy, but not on my Teac or Techmedia drive)

I've had mine on for a week or so.
It's more like an aluminum veneer than a "sticker"

The adhesive used for the stick-on bezel seems to be sufficient.
Just take the extra time in lining up the bezel to the CDROM drive.
Once I had mine positioned and firmly attached, I would have had to pry and bend the aluminum to get it removed. (definitely not apply and re-attach like a Lian Li thumbscrew)

You are correct. However, you can't generally see through aluminum.
