Yeah, keep in mind vanilla 9700 cards are out now. You're not getting the 325/310 clocked 9700 Pro but you can probably o/c up to those speeds. But thats why you see lower prices - not the same cards.

Wasn't there an issue with the ATI 9500/9700 family of cards in oc'ing? According to this article from hardocp the oc'ing features are somehow locked in and even if you try to clock it higher it'll just reset itself to the default afterwards.
