I think you are talking about the IBM DeathStar series. This is a SCSI drive.

There was a different thread going on a while back about a 73GB Maxtor drive. If I remember correctly, someone mentioned that they had very bad experience with Maxtor SCSI drives but never had a problem with IBMs, IBM SCSI, that is, not IDE.

I have to agree, 90 days is a little on the low side. But the price is hot! Makes me wonder though what generation drive this is...

It is a 5th Generation...The one thing they don't mention is the fact that it isn't a refurb...and IBM usually warranties all their SCSI's for 1 year so now i am confused and actually may cancel my order...any inputs from anybody else?
