<< You may want to go to www.linuxiso.org and download ANY distro. >>
Except suse of course >>
And some others... The FAQ on linuxiso.org says that they remove redirects for distributions if asked. LinuxIso.org doesn't actually host any of the ISOs - they redirect you to a mirror that is supposed to be close to you.
It's hot that it's free, just not newsworthy anymore.
BTW, if you use anything faster than a dial-up analog 'net connection, it's a good idea to try a few different servers, not just the first you see, as the download rate can vary by multiples.
[OT] Does anyone know of any tool which would enable me to switch between Windows 2000 or Linux. I am a newbie to Linux and am aware of only Boot managers which goes you options to load multiple OS's at boot time. If there any good sites on this subject or for that matter Linux, I would appreciate it.

I second vmware...i've used vmware on linux hosts and it works quite nicely - most of the time. You won't get full functionality of all your hardware, but you get functionality of alot of it. Somewhat of a hassle if you upgrade your kernel though...
But speaking of lycoris, anyone ever try this? I read it on NY Times and it received a glowing review for ease of install and the website shows a very XP-ish desktop. I thought that this might finally be a linux that my sister will use.

i'm guessing you want to install linux on your system but your not clear on seting up a bootloader is that corect? if so seting up vmware won't be any easier. have you ever used linux before or are you trying to install so you can check it out? i beleive there are linux OS's that you can install into your windows partion and run it withing windows, i think.also suse has a demo cd that basicly runs linux from the cd, no actual install needed. and if you have a spare hard drive you can get a physical hard drive switcher and install onto the 2nd drive so linux and windows are completly serperate. am i way off base here or is this what you needed?
