Office Depot has the Imation DVD 50 packs on sale this week for $89.67 and buy 1 get 1 free:
Text

1) Add 2 of either to your cart:
DVD-R 906-895
DVD+R 906-913

2) Select in-store pickup

3) Apply the B1G1F coupon code: 78479819 (it's posted on their website)

4) Find the $20 off $75 coupon code and apply it to your order - they emailed it to me.

Total should be $69.67 + Tax. Not sure about the quality of the media. I think I read in a previous hot deal that the +R are Ricoh and the -R may be CMC Magnetics. IMO, this is a hot price on media considering there are no rebates.

According to their website the +R discs are available in-store only. YMMV trying to use a non-printed coupon at an Office Depot store. They did recently mail out a $15 off $100 coupon you could use by adding a +$10 item. In Imation's 25 packs recently the +R discs were 4X RICOHJPNR01, the -R discs were Ritek G03 which will burn at 2X in most burners.
Website showed insufficient stock when I tried to order. If you can't get these Memorex are on sale for a $1 each at Best Buy (50 pack), CompUSA (25 pack), and Staples (10 pack w/jewel cases). None have any MIRs.

Just successfully ordered the +R discs for in-store pick-up using a $20 off $75 coupon code. $69 and change plus taxes out the door. Sweet!

Yeah, the Ebates coupon worked. Got the -R disks for $75 with free shipping and tax included. Last time I got these, they were Ritek 2X. Hopefully they will be 4X this time. For 75cents per disk, quality 2X are good enough for me.

"anyone know if the optorite d203 will work with the -r"

Yep, they will work, but they have been G03 2x discs.

My DD0201 was unreliable with Ritek G03. Verify errors on more than 1/2 and an annoying % would not play correctly.

I haven't had a problem with any of the G03 discs on my DD0203. Using some G04 discs at present, and having no problems with them either. Of course most of the -R discs I had burned with it before some of the recent firmware upgrades wouldn't play on several different stand-alone players. I'm using firmware 2.23 at the moment. The DD0201 would use different firmware, but you can use Nero Info-tool to see what you're running.

I am so temped to get into this deal, the only thing holding me back is they are 2x disc. I just spend $300 on the Compusa HD deal.

Picked up a couple of 50 pack +R discs today. Box contained 2 25 pack shrink-wrapped spindles. ID as RICOHJPNR01 4X which will burn at 8X in some of the new 8X burners.

It was unreliable with multiple firmwares, all the way up to 2.30E before I sold it. Ritek G04 media were the only DVD-Rs that worked reliably, which was pretty disappointing. Very few DVD+R brands worked reliably, too. I fixed my problem by buying a Pioneer DVR-106 (Memorex) and all 7 or so brands of DVD +/-R media I have work 100% perfectly now.

I picked up my order at the store. No problems with the coupon. I ordered the +R's - they're marked 4X. No speed rating on the -R packages.

I picked up 100 DVD+Rs today and the manager was trying to give me trouble about the $109 in discounts ($89.xx B1G1, $20 off $75 referral). I think he was the same guy who refused to sell me the price mistake DVDs over a week ago (B1G1 applied twice to 4 x 15 packs ). But I was right this time and he couldn't do anything about it.

I got 2 packs of the +R's for delivery. We do not have a local OD. Maybe this is why they are allowing delivery.

Great deal for $0.70 per disk.

Thanks OP! They had one in stock online and they let me backorder - even though I have a ton of ODs near me.

The Imation DVD-Rs are either CMC 2x or Ritek G03 (2x). The Imation DVD+Rs are 4x Ricoh, as stated on the sticker on the packages.

Do RICOH 4x DVD+Rs burn reliably at 8x? I have a LiteOn 811S that I haven't opened yet. The 411s->811s hack threads I've seen mostly have results for RICOH 4x discs, but I don't know if the 8x speed was forced or not.
