Just accepted the printouts. You can argue that it went OOS and the price increased when you decided that you wanted to give staples the business. Should work.

I went in Friday evening to Sears after hearing about the sales ending Saturday. I printed out the Radio Shack webpage and also my refunded receipt after they said they were going to get one for me but failed to do so. I went up to a newbie and he did it for the $349 price no problem. They only had one brand new one in the warehouse but there was a return iPAQ sitting in the locked cabinet. The annoying thing is when I turned it on I noticed there was some dirt under the screen already. Ugh that's annoying.

Hey guys, thanks a TON for posting that link for the RS price, I just got back from Staples, and they pricematched it no problem at all. They wouldn't take my coupon code on top of it, but hey, $100 off from Staples + $150 off from Compaq, so I didn't complain.

Thanks again Hot Deals forum, you've saved me some money! Off course, it's funny how you always have to spend money to save money, but oh well, I don't think about it too hard, and just concentrate on my happy thoughts of 100s of dollars off regular price...

Anyone wanna sell me one (for what they got it for )??? I hit up the local staples, and all they had left was a display. It looked in really good condition, and they were gonna price match it to the compusa then do a 40 off 200 coupon
making it 300-40 = 260 - 150 rebate = 110 + tax, but they won't sell me the display, because it's still an "active" model in there system which really blows. All the other stores are either out, or are open box (in which they say something is defective)... which really blows. If anyone wants to attempt to get me one or seomthin...

I will be officially boycotting Staples after this. Fu*k them! The assh*le manager called and cancelled my order saying that he called them today and the price is after rebate. I told him NO SH|T SHERLOCK the sale ended Saturday at 11:59 pm. He insinuated I was lying and told me he wouldn't do anything about it. Even after I offered to bring him in the receipt from Radio Schack to prove the correct price. His logic was that it is not on sale today so if I bring it in then it isn't on sale to match. What a fu*king assh*le!

Their corporate office stated that the District Manger (DM) and the Regional Vice President will have to get in contact with the local manager (Mike the assh*le) and they will resolve the dispute within 72 hours and give me a call back. WTF is that? They will resolve the issue without me in the conversation? That seems pretty damn one sided. When they call if they have anything to say other than "We will ship you the ipaq's at the sale price RS had them at" then I will politley tell them that "You have seen my last Fuc*in cent!" Bastards! I've boycotted McDonalds for 5 years and CompUSA for 6 months (Ironically they screwed me on the first purchase I ever made with them).

After the Regional VP and District Manger talked to him, he sure did change his tone! Now he calls and they have them both in for me and will price match, plus he asks me "How you doing sir?" LOL. Someone must have put him in his Staples Lifer place.

Anways, I have 2 more Ipaqs coming my way!

Well got there and the one was used. Told them to find me another one, he's currently looking. The other was a 3765, I told him that I wanted the 3635. He offered the 3765 for the same price ($349.98) so I said what the he|| and bought it! The only bad part is it doesn't come with the CF sleeve!

Next mission:

Find CF Sleeve Cheap! or PCMCIA sleeve cheap!

Damn regional office musta really bit his head off if he gave you a 3765 at the same price. No CF Sleeve is a bummer though... checkout the FS/T forum I think I saw one floating around in there.
