Good question 0roo0roo, my take would be that the "safety structure" would comprise of the the doors in a closed position, thus the front hinges may be of little significance; if done properly for lack of a better term, I'd bet that the "scissor" hinges have more welds than factory hinges, maybe?

yea pretty sure they engineer it all to work together. and you need every last bit you can get on a small car. coupes are already weaker than sedans of the same model in side impacts.

A girl (or guy for that matter) who'd be impressed by that couldn't have an IQ much over 75. Physically attractive or not, that turns me off like a lightswitch.

There is some guy with an integra out here with a DARK tinted windshield. To make up for the fact that he cant see sh*t at night through that thing, he has an aftermarket HID kit that is brighter than the fvcking sun at noon. All 4 of them. At the same time.

personally whatever someone wants to do with their ride is fine with me, as long as it's not causing problems for others.

In my experience those that poke the most fun at these kinds of people are those driving crap mobiles themselves or just pompous that they are done with their creations.

Also in my experience these guys driving around in eyesores that are unpainted / a combined paint job of a half dozen mismatched body panels are getting quite a bit of tail for the most part or so into their cars that they have no time for anything else.

Then you got the guys that think "cause I drive a pick'em up truck, I the man!" +10 mullet points if it's more than a 6" lift

Then you got the guys that think "y0, I am on 26's f00, full navigachion and da DVD, you better respect"

It was hilarious watching her open her door though, it opened about 6", then she had to grab the bottom edge of the door & lift it over her head. I assume there's some sort of pneumatic assist but still it was the most awkward thing ever.

Personally I think the engine and the interior are more worth spending money on.

For example :
Instead of getting my Accord some insane paint job and decals and what not, I would rather get some kick ass seats (some nice suede leather seats) , get me some cold air intake things like that, making your car too flashy makes you look like an attention whore.
I would rather make the car slick without the out of these worthless mods and what not.

1- Make your interior more classy.
2- Juice more power out of that engine.
3- A nice sound system won't hurt anyone, but just make sure your not getting something that will be heared 2 miles away :disgust:
