I feel sorry for people who bought it refurbished for $300 direct from Apple.

I think I'll wait for my HDD MP3 player. The 2nd generation iPod is nice, but the inability to create playlists on-the-go? Now that's crazy.

• it's @#$!ing $300!

• a lot of people have had major problems with it crashing or something?

• what's this about no playlists on the go?

For the record, i HAD a 10 GB, but i sold it for $75 profit, to buy a powerbook. And i MISS it EVERYDAY!! I even went and looked at the new ones today. BAD IDEA. I'm ready to breakdown just thinking about it. Wish i could hop on this, but i have to pay for school.

Credit cards. Unfortunately I'm trying to get off that nasty habit and recently took out a loan to consolidate mine....and I've promised myself not to run the bill up again. Damm..I'm so wanting to jump on this deal.

-- i know that oftentimes, apple users sell their old apple stuff at a profit on ebay. a few of my friends have sold their powerbooks on ebay at a profit - does anybody think this 'rule' would apply to ipods? i know some people/hardcore apple users woud DIE to get their hands on anything apple and usually are willing to pay for it if they really want it (i.e. - the apple semi-truck toy...hahaha). it seems that the value of certain apple products generally rises over time... i dunno, maybe it's just me but that's what it seems like these days.

Certainly this deal has good ebay potential if you find yourself in a cash crunch. I'm sure it will be flooded soon what with the new models and closeouts, but I dont think you'd find yourself unable to get back, at least, what you paid for it. New ones on ebay go for $300-360.

I am thinking about that Apple is migrating into entertainment business by launching its music site. It may has an incentive to sell more its IPOD so that more music could be downloaded from their sites.

Bad news. They are sold out and severely backordered.

We sold over 700 of these things yesterday.

Nope, not a hacked cc. Now it says "VERIFYING" so I think things will be okay. (Unless somebody else has hacked MY cc and maxed out the funds.)
