I tried a couple of quick overclocking tests. I'm running two 1 GHZ P3s (cD0 stepping, 133 FSB). I did NOT run any stress tests. This is just booting into Win 2K Pro, starting up a couple of apps to make sure they don't crash. These are ALL of the FSB settings available in the BIOS. No 1 MHZ steps here

Default worked (duh)
134/33 worked
137/34 worked
140/35 worked
145/36 worked
150/37 worked (1.125 GHZ)
160/40 would not POST. Had to reset CMOS.

I'm running some Micron RAM at 2-2-2. Might have to back it off a bit and try again.

So the "1MHZ overclock = unstable" may have been for an old board. My board rev is 1.1A, BIOS rev 1.2A 20010803.

Question for those of you that have this board already. What power supply (size wise) are you using? Im looking at using dual 1Ghz PIII's and probably using a couple of Wester Digital drives on raid, basic sound, basic cdrom, FireGL 8800 card, 512MB SDRAM, and of course the floppy. Plenty of low power fans also, probably 4. Im thinking 300 watt may not be enough? I can get a Antec True 380 pretty cheap from my friend, would I be better off with that?

Thanks

I bought one. And a couple of Celly 366's they were new and only 18 bucks each. I really just want this for screwing around. Not going to be an everyday desktop.

I don't believe anyone has been successful with dual Mendocino Celerons on the Acorp...check the 2CPU forums for more info.

Best regards,
Floyd

New shipping options, including FedEx ground @ $5.

Note: FedEx ground is an almost entirely different company from the original.

Word has surfaced over at 2Cpu.com Forum that it will run at least one tually... If it can do two then this is much hotter. I just ordered 2 Non Raid for $24.26 each (code at tech bargains and 1 RAID version... I am going to give Dual Tually's a try...

Anyone know if the Raid can be hacked to do RAID0,1 ??

For me, the deal breaker is the processors...P3's are just too frickin' expensive for their clock speeds. I'd rather spend another $100 or so on the motherboard and get a couple of Athlon MP's (or XP's with the L5 bridge closed).
That's probably why the board is so cheap. Who wants to buy P3's at this point with the prices the way they are. I bet they didn't sell a lot of these boards at normal price.

I bought one. And a couple of Celly 366's they were new and only 18 bucks each. I really just want this for screwing around. Not going to be an everyday desktop.
I just messed around with a couple of old SCSI drives in an old PPro system. When I got it set up, I said, "cool" and then moved on. I guess it's fine for screwing around with, but the fun will wear off fast.

sal I agree... PIII are but expensive.. I mean 70 or 80 for PIIIs @700 to 866 sucks ass...
but mobo is cheap and very stable from what I heard in 2cpu... and I have a single 700 system w/o AGP so I figure this is a cheap way to upgrade..

W/ RAID is OOS. You can still get NON_RAID. They aren't a "GEEK SPECIAL" yet so, you can get them for $24.95 after coupon.
