Nice. I was tempted to buy one of these a couple of weeks ago at BB for about the same price after $30MIR. I hate MIRs. Glad I waited. Thanks!

i think the prices are finally coming down. I ordered that kingmax 2x512 3200 for $106 a couple of days ago and now this is on sale and also they had a 3200 Corsair Value Ram 2.5c on sale for $120 this morning. I don't see it now, but I almost cancelled my ordered and got a 2nd gig of the value ram.
I think it was for retail they have the OEM below for $115.

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-145-440&depa=0

Now if they would only get the raptors on sale, i'd be doing more gaming and less trading.

Huh? PC3200 memory should work fine @ PC2700 speeds. (Although I don't recommend mixing with "real" PC2700 memory, unless you can manually set the timings via the BIOS. Worst-case, put the PC2700 in the first DIMM slot, and the PC3200 in the others.

Hynix D43s go pretty fast (240 FSB), but not at 2.5CL

I have 2*256 and 2*512 of kvr with d43 chips that do 264&270fsb respectively with slack timings.

I would jump on this deal if I was certain to get sticks with hynix chips.

I got 2 sticks from CC KVR pc3200..chips are marked D3208DX1T-5R..have no idea what this is ????

I am running on Neo 2 Plat 212 2.7v cas 3-3-3-7 1t...default is 200 3-3-3-8 2t

cas 2.5 vs cas 3 makes little difference with A64

Its got a long way to go as far as im concerned. There must be a ton of 3200 and the prices have been high for long time.

If your wondering if you should get this or "better" ram......
This stuff should be perfect for amd 64 rigs, depending on how picky the mobo is. Theres a thread on amd64s and ram and it basically says to grab the cheapest stable 3200 you can find and use the savings toward a video card or faster hd. Not much performance difference between cas 2 and cas 3 or 3200 and 4000 rated ddr on the 64 platform.
