Leadtek GeForce 6800 PCI-Express 288$ at Newegg

I found this interesting because it's the first PCI-e 6800 NU I've ever seen, and the price isn't that bad.

I suppose it's kinda hot, just based on its price vs. other PCI-E 6800NU's, but really it is cold for the card you get. Look at reviews on the net and you will see that this card performs the same and sometimes slower than a 6600GT. The reduced core speed and use of slower DDR1 kills the performance of the 6800NU's.

strange I would think i'll have the same preformance as the 6800nu for agp which kills the 6600gt's

not that hot, unless you really want an nvidia brand card...

wasn't the x800xl selling for 299, and may still be? nvidia needs to announce a price drop.

Would have been a good deal, except that x800 XLs are now available at CompUSA, Microcenter, Fry's etc for $299.

I thought it performs like a regular 6800NU ?Why is it that bad? But yeah, an X800XL for 300$ is certainly better.

That's why this card is slower, this card doesn't have the normal 700MHz ram that a 6800nu AGP version has. Must be using some really cheap ram on this model.

Also keep in mind that this is a different core than the AGP version which means there is NO possibility of unlocking pipes.
