my order was just cancelled and money refunded (without me requesting it to be cancelled)......anyone else have this happen?

I found a few nice shirts in my size and tried to order them. In the 20 minutes I took to shop and check out, all 5 shirts that I really wanted went OOS and it left me with some filler shirts and no free shipping. That's worst thing with a hot online deals, the product isn't yours til it's in your hand. I guess I'll stop by Ross and see what they have.

Aside fom the shrinkage, you need to get 100% cotton shirts laundered and pressed. Unless you have a fetish for ironing clothes. Personally, I'd prefer to throw them in the W/D myself and just throw them on hangers right out of the dryer, no ironing needed for poly/cotton.

8 out of 10 of my shirts were refunded also, I guess the merchant is out of stock on most of these! Maybe they made a price mistake on all these shirts (highly unlikely)

Those on sale are knitted from synethic materials. You can find similar savings at Paul Frederick dot com or other internet stores for about the same price when they are on sale. You need to iron it or take it to the laundry to have it pressed. However, wearing pressed cotton shirt looks very professional if this is what you would like to convey. A pressed synethic shirt has a different look. Also good cotton shirt lasts much longer, does not stick to you skin and you don't have to wear an undershirt if you don't want to.

hmmm one order confermation notice still has my colors and sizes, where as the other only has the brand. I clicked the link and they are out of the shirts I ordered, how do I find out if they are refunding me or waiting for more in stock? I hope they just don't ship and size color combo in stock.

Oh they won't. Most likely they'll cancel your order without telling you in advance.

Received my order today via fed ex. Only 2 days shipped; very good timing. I still don't like how they claimed to have an "unexpected surge of orders", but instead of filling as many of those orders as possible, the items are instead placed back on the shelf & marked up. So lame. Still, a decent deal on somed decent shirts.

Van Heusen = my favorite button up shirt. Some look good as a dress shirts or just casual with jeans.

FYI, These are also sold at Costco's Warehouse, but the selection isn't as big as what you're seeing through Amazon's web page. At Costco I typically see them for $14.99. Great shirt, great price.
