Amazon reviews

I have these in green and they are awesome. Very ergonomic and look nice too. No lag and the controls are very precise. I've had no issues with mine (the only difference is that the green ones don't have vibration). These are going for over $40 at some places. Syncing is very easy; you press a button on the receiver and then hit any button on the controller and they are synced. You only have to re-sync them if you change the batteries in the controller. They have an auto-sleep feature to preserve battery life and a couple slots on the receiver for a memory card and Xbox Live Communicator.

There is also a hot deal for you PS2 fanboys: $15.67 Logitech wireless controller (transparent blue)

Ehhh.....I really wasn't a fan of this controller to be honest...much preferred the wired controller. Never had issues but couldn't get used to it - was just a personal preference. It feels lighter...and button layout just felt odd to me. I bought two of these for $35 probably 6 months ago.

It's not the same price - all the ones listed on pricegrabber for 19.99 are used/refurbished.

Don't like the deal move on .........

^^ for a great deal on a great cordless controller!!

wow. is it just me, or is there and abundance of thread crappers around these days? either way though, i really like the feel of these controller's myself. It is almost identical to the ps2 wireless controller that i love so much. infact i'm in for another ps2 one another xbox one. so brings my count to 2 and 2.

That's good to know. I think I'll have to go for it. Thanks for posting the deal and your experience with interference.

Great controller, nice deal! My only gripe is that for ME, the triggers are extremely sensitive. Just resting my fingers on them is like slightly pressing them.

YES! The triggers on my green ones are insanely sensitive. It took a couple weeks to get used to it, but once in awhile I'll still accidentally throw a grenade because I breathed on the left trigger

sweet find.

...and yes, there seem to be an abundant amount of thread crapping.

Got mine in today. I already have the green wireless controllers, so to compare:

-Black ones are WAY heavier, even moreso than the wired controllers!
-Like holding an ergonomic brick; not so bad you can't play though
-Looks very, very nice
-Vibration is nice, not overwhelming like on the Dukes
-Buttons require a hard push to activate (A/B/X/Y)

The weight is actually kind of nice. I like the vibration feature, plus there's an on/off switch for that. My only real gripe is that you really have to punch down on the A/B/X/Y buttons to get them to activate, which stinks when you want to tap reload or jump quickly instead of having to really push down. I don't know if that is something that will wear down over time or not because my green ones were properly sensitive right out of the box. Anyone else who has these care to comment on that aspect?

Did some more testing last night using Far Cry and also Mario under the SNES emulator. Aside from the increased weight, my main gripe is the lack of response in the colored A/B/X/Y buttons. If the green controller buttons are like pushing a doorbell, then the black controller buttons are like pushing a pushpin into a wall. Not really that bad, but you get the idea. I do not like the increased sensitivity. For example, in Far Car Evo, you can do a cool move where you jump and then use your hands to dive-attack a bad guy. Rather than just sliding your thumb from the jump button to the hand-attack button, you really have to push each button down. It's doable, it just requires a little bit more effort and paying attention to. I find it annoying. All four of my black controllers have that problem. Like I mentioned about weight, the green controllers don't weigh anything compared to the black controllers; they are almost as light as the new wireless PS3 controllers. My recommendation? Spend the extra few bucks and get the ugly green ones. They are actually on sale right now for $21.54:
