HOT! MAG 19" Monitor for $79 AR at Best Buy B&M

I went to BB today and saw that they had the MAG 19" Monitor for $79 AR! It's $129.97 and it has a $50 rebate. I grabbed one coz it was a good deal. There is one more left at the West LA BB on Sawtelle.

Great deal for a second monitor in a dullie setup I have a samsung 955DF currently and was looking for a second monitor for duals, looks like I found one. althoug, I would like 2 samsungs great deals are great deals right .

can this monitor handle 1280x1024 at 100Hz? I don't care about 1600x1200, but 100Hz is a must.

Hmmmm, you'll be lucky if you're doing 1024x768 at 85, anything higher and it gets really blurry. My parents have the same monitor, I tried running it at 1280x1024 and it started sucking arse, no way it's going to give you a good picture at 1600x1200. It's great as a Counter-Strike monitor for the blind, just don't expect Trinitron and Dynaflat type clarity. BTW I was running it off a Radeon VE so it's not the video card that was sucking.

I have a 17" Trinitron FD at home and a 21" Trinitron FD at work so I may be a little picky. True, you really can't beat the price, but personally I'd rather spend the extra $100 and get a Samsung 955 or even a 950. For $79 it's a great deal but remember beggers can't be choosers.

I picked one of these up last time BB had this deal going. Good monitor, alot of picture adjusting features. Sharp picture, and very bright.

Tends to curve a bit at the very edges, so I scale it away by a milimeter or two.

I picked up one at porter ranch store for $120.00 - $50.00 reabate even though I really didn't even need one. The price was too good to pass up. It's not a bad monitor for $79.00 but Its not flat and it only has a one year warranty!
