for non gaming, this card would be great.

it should have just enough ram to support 2 1600x1200 displays at 32bits.

2d acceleration his a peak like 5 years ago, so this is a good deal. they one at geeks btw is the g400 which is actually a slightly faster 3d card and less money.

I believe the G450's have VGA to tv adaptersfrom matrox too so you use this for some high quality tv out on a HTPC

Dont bother with that if you want to be able to read text on your TV. It is only s-video or composite.

i installed it on my Dad's desktop for him to run his online trading screens. Very impressive card, and considering how cheap u can pick up CRT monitors ($35 19" trinitron at goodwill), this is an awsome dual head solution for $50 total. It is made by Matrox, they have current drivers, and its a very professional product that I imagine will have support into the future as well, buying 2 more for legacy future systems
