Add me to the list. I ordered both a men's XL zip jacket and a men's XL button jacket. They were shipped separately for some reason, and the zip jacket was a men's XL, but the button jacket was a women's jacket. So I called the number given earlier in this thread, and they were very happy to upgrade my replacement jacket to 2nd-day shipping. The new jacket package will contain a mailing label to return the old jacket. Sounds good to me.

I was iffy about these but ordered one any way. I got the XL( I'm 6' and 190lbs) which I was afraid would probably be a mistake after reading the comments here. They certainly are light weight but I put a heavy cotton sweater on under the coat and it actually fits and feels pretty good. They are worth the $$.

I'll bet this women's coats thing is due to the Anandtech effect. They probably had about an even number of men's and women's coats, but the AT effect created a huge demand for men's coats. It's no excuse, but that's my guess.

I know there are women who participate in the AT forums, but I'll bet it's 10:1 men to women.

On another note. I'm 5'7" 140 pounds and I have a Medium. I'm beginning to notice it is a bit big on me. Checking the sizing charts on target.com I noticed that I should've gotten a Small, since it says Smalls are for waist size 30-32. All the dimensions fit me. 14 neck, 32 arm length etc. etc. So Now I have a Medium that I'm stuck with, since all the smalls are sold out. I e-mailed amazon asking about exchanging and they said I can Return it, and Order a separate order. So now if I return it to amazon i'll never get one cuz their out of smalls. So I guess whoever has a Small that doesn't fit them and need a Medium. PM me. We can maybe cross ship or something. >>



I am about the same size except 10lbs heavier and just received the medium-sized button coat. The arm length and shoulder are fine, but it seems too wide in the waist area and an 1" too long for me.

I think I can still use it as an overcoat.

If the one you ordered was the button longer one, then they are lying to you. I received a Men's black button-up hip coat the other day. I can't speak for the shorter coat, or the zippered ones.

I ordered a men's medium and large zip up.

UPS just stopped by with the order so I opened it up and suprise it's a women's medium I then opened the other package and it actually was a men's large and it fits great.
Since my large fits great I'll probably give the medium women's jacket to my g/f.

The coat is light but definitely worth it.

I would have liked to seen what the button up jacket looks like. The zipper on mine is rather hard to get together and apart, but I'll live with it

Probably true. I can probably use it as an overcoat for my suit or something. I wished i could've goteen a smaller version so it will fit better.

Thanks for the post. I had concerns about the XL being large enough (biggest still available at the time of my order) in this price point, but it's generously cut and very-very soft skins. It seems a little "stretchy/rubbery" compared to my other coats, but WELL WORTH the money. As far as the "lightness", I hate bulky, thick coats for anything other than standing outside doing yardwork for extended periods of time. If it's lighter like this one, I'll actually throw it on often. I got the longer length, button down BTW

FINALLY! The third time was the charm. After getting two woman's XL button coats I finally got the men's XL. Very nice coat. Fits me perfectly. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs. It also helped that I had an amazon GC of $40 from my nextcard visa rewards to bring the final price down to $15 or so. The leather is very soft and nice quality. I can't believe these coats are so inexpensive. You would expect to pay much more than $50 for a coat like this. Good luck with your replacements everyone! It's well worth it.

I talked with Amazon.com's "Special Customer Care Support" and the lady basically told me that the manufacturer must have messed up when they send the shipment over and claimed women's coats as men's coats. She said that as we were speaking that the staff were making the new inventory that will be reflected online and that all of the men's coats will probably be out of stock.

Since I've already been shipped a women's coat and the replacement is being shipped from NV again, I asked will I be getting a women's coat again? She said probably and that there is nothing they can do about it but give me a refund to my CC. She said however, that they may try and reorder some men's coats from the manufacturer, so she said by the time I receive my second women's jacket that they may have the new shipment in.

I don't know how true this may be, but that is what she told me after talking with Amazon Customer Service people for like 20 minutes.

Congrats to the people who have gotten their men's jackets, and hopefully the lottery will go my way next time I open that UPS box.
