BTW- on one site, I see it has a web browser, and on another I see it doesn't. Which is true? Also, does this one have the FM radio attachment?

The V60g User's Guide says "Your phone may be configured to use a high-speed GPRS..." for the micro-browser. Mine doesn't show the GPRS icons on the display, and T-Mobiles site doesn't list it, so I think we've only got email capability. (At least in Seattle.)

You need to buy a special headset for FM capability.

This is included with the phone, as well as this charger with two international adapter plugs.

Edit: T-mobile does list internet capability, after all. It must be enabled by the "smart card" that comes with the package, depending on which plan you buy (?).

I bought the r225 from amazon when they had a $150 rebate plus the 90$ voicestream rebate. I activated the phone yesterday and so far I am loving it. The reception is fine for me from Long Beach to Universal Studios. The phone is nice and small and I love that you can set different ringtones/lights for who is calling. There is a little light at the upper left of the phone you can set to light up for certain people. Great for me since I usually have it on vibrate. I can just look at the light at see who is calling.
I talked to the voicestream rep, I got the $30 300 minute plan from amazon. She said the 300 minutes are monday midnight through Thursday 11:59 pm. So weekdays basically. Unlimited weekend minutes starting friday midnight through sunday 11:59. 300 minutes may not seem that much but for $40 a month you can get 1000 minutes during the week only 10 bux more for triple the minutes. I decided against it since I rarely use a cell phone. I was scared at first but my experience (yours may differ) was that I made the right choice. Oh yea free long distance anywhere too. Pretty nice. Not sure why all the hoopla over the Amazon deal.

I called a number of those small cell phone shops and seems like the going deal around here (long island) is the V60g w/voicestream service for $100 before the $100 rebate from voicestream. Also, got a car charger and leather case thrown in. Got mine 10 minutes after I decided and only have to wait for 1 rebate. Yes, I did have to pay the tax on $100 though.
